Apple's September 2026 event is done. Here are my quick first impressions on everything announced.
What Was Announced
The lineup unveiled at the event:
- iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
- iPhone Duo – Apple's first foldable iPhone

For me, the most meaningful change this generation is on the camera side. The fixed aperture of the iPhone 17 Pro has been replaced with a variable aperture that physically opens and closes — a genuine shift in how the camera handles light.
